Early this year, Officine Panerai presents its new Luminor Power Reserve 44 mm. It is an all black designed watch with automatic movement and a 42-hour power reserve. It has been available this month of July and take note that it is not simply a reissue of the watch. The Panerai Luminor was first launched in 1998, unlike the old model, the new issued watch has significantly updated version and mostly regarding the dial and case. The new design is only available in a limited edition for about 1,000 pieces only at Panerai Boutiques.
The new Panerai Luminor, is coated in DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) and the carrure, the bezel and the device protecting the crown are made of stainless steel which is no longer blackened with a PVD coating unlike the old model.
